スウェーデンは、スペインやドイツほど強豪ではないだろう！
イタリアでサッカーは、まさに国技のようなもの、世界一楽しいシリーズを持つと自負するほど。
それなのに、まさかの引き分け！！
気が付けば、どこかで知らないうちに「イタリアがワールドカップに出場することはあたりまえ」化してしまっていた！！
かの有名なミランの歴代監督であり、ナショナルチームで監督を務めたアリゴ・サッキは語る「こうなることは予想が出来た」と！
そうかい確かに、今回スター選手がいなかった。ことは言えるが、出場は出来ただろうにと思う。
サッキ様曰く「ニつのワールドカップの結果は最悪だったから」と言うのだ！！
今朝の新聞の見出しでは、「恥ずかしい！」「なんてことさ！」などが書かれた。
イタリアがワールドカップに出場しないのは、 60年 ぶりのこと。
昨日の試合の後は、主将のブッフォンは泣いた。
「なんとも申し訳ない」と言っていた。
どこかで「勝てるに違いない＝ワールドカップに行ける」思っていただろう。
一夜明けて、この現実に、サッカー協会、スポーツ協会が動き出す。
「なぜにこのような事がおきてしまったのか？」と皆が問い、とは言っても、起きてしまったのだから…….
まず監督は解雇。ただ後任がそう簡単に見つからない。大半が未だ契約が終っていなかったりもするが、とかくナショナルチームの監督は、ストレスがたまるもの。引き受けるのも大変なのである。
「後任の監督が誰になるのか？？」これからの楽しみはこれくらいだろうなーーーーーと思う。見守りましょう！！
